Queen's Park Stadium

Queen's Park Stadium is a 2,000 seat community stadium located in the beautiful Queen's Park. The stadium has just been renovated to convert two soil based playing surfaces to sand based fields. They will be available for bookings in September 2005.

HISTORY OF QUEEN'S PARK STADIUM
In 1929 the Stadium initially started as a field area with a ¼ mile track. A 100 yard track was added in 1931 and the first field lights installed in 1948.

The main section of the Stadium was built in 1950 which are the present day concrete stands.

In 1970 the track was removed and sodded over. This gave us our present day softball and soccer field.

RENTAL RATES

Not for profit groups:
$42.60 / hour or 12.5% of gross gate (whichever is greater).

Commercial or Professional Groups over 500
$170.40 / hour or 12.5% of gross gate (whichever is greater).

Lights: $17.20 / hour
