Route follows the Sky Train guideway from the northwest corner of the City past the 22nd Street Station and Grimston Park
Parallel Stewardson Way to the 3rd Avenue overpass
Cross the waterfront via a future ramp extension of the overpass |
Glenbrook Ravine Greenway
Route: From north to south
Begin at the Crosstown Greenway and Centennial Community Centre
Cross 6th Avenue and follow Glenbrook Drive to the ravine
Continue down through the ravine with connecting points from the adjacent residential neighbourhood |
Crosstown Greenway
Route: From west to east
Follow 7th Avenue from 20th Street to and through Moody Park
Rejoin 7th Avenue at 8th Street
Continue along 7th Avenue to McBride Boulevard
Continue through Canada Games Pool complex to Cumberland Street
Follow Cumberland Street downhill to Richmond Street
Follow Richmond past the cemetery to Sherbrook Street to Fader Street and conclude at Hume Park perimeter trail. |
Brow of the Hill Greenway
Route: From north to south
Begin at the south border of Moody Park and follow 9th Street down the hill to Simcoe Park
Shift diagonally to 8th Street and continue down the hill past the west terminus of the Columbia Street Historic Greenway and over the existing pedestrian overpass from Hyack Square
Route ends at the waterfront at the Riverboat Casino. |
Uptown Greenway
Route: From north to south
Begin at the junction of 5th Street and the Crosstown Greenway at 7th Avenue
Follow 5th Street down the hill to 3rd Avenue
Shift at 3rd Street one block east to 4th Street
Follow 4th Street down the hill through Tipperary Park past the eastern terminus of the Columbia Street Historic Greenway and via the parkade structure, terminates at the waterfront. |
Queens Avenue Greenway
Route: From west to east
Follow 3rd Avenue from the overpass, up the hill to Mowat Street
Follow Mowat Street to Queens Avenue
Follow Queens Avenue across town to the southwest corner of Queens Park linking to the perimeter trail. |
Columbia Street Greenway
Route: From west to east
Follow the historic commercial district from 8th Street to 4th Street Route is anchored, at each end, by a Sky Train station. |
Gateway Greenway
Route: From north to south
Begin at the north border of New Westminster at 10th Avenue where Kingsway becomes 12th Street
Follow 12th Street down the hill through the commercial area terminating at the 3rd Avenue portion of the Queens Avenue Greenway. |
Parkside Greenway
Route: From north to south
Begin at the northern border of New Westminster at 10th Avenue
Follow 2nd Street down the hill to 7th Avenue
Go along 7th Avenue one block to east 1st Street
Follow 1st Street to the western border of Queens Park
Continue south along 1st Street ending at Albert Crescent Park. |
Brunette-Fraser Trail
Route: From east to west
Begin from the east end of Lower Hume Park you can hike to the Braid Street Sky train station (the trail access is behind the station, just beside the Brunette Avenue overpass). This enjoyable hiking trail is mainly flat and provides about a 30 minute hike one way. |
Waterfront Greenway
Route: From west to east
Begin at Burnaby border and follows along the edge of the Fraser River under the Queensborough Bridge
Connect to the waterfront walkway at Quayside (Riverboat Casino)
Continue along the urban waterfront to the Pattullo Bridge and proceed along waterfront through a new waterfront park. |
Queensborough Greenway
Route: From north end of Queensborough Bridge
Begin at 22nd Street near the Skytrain Station and cross the Queensborough Bridge
Loop down to Boyd Street and crosses Boyd Street at Wood Street
Follow Wood north to the Fraser River where it intersects the Queensborough perimeter trail loop. |
