Fire Hazard

The current fire hazard rating is Extreme due to an exceptionally hot and dry spring and summer. To help us reduce the risk of fire in our parks and trails, please:

• Do not smoke or discard cigarette butts in our parks and trails

• Do not have briquette barbecues in the parks (propane BBQ’s are permitted)

• Stay on the trails and report any fire immediately by calling 9-1-1

New Westminster Parks and Recreation appreciates your support in preventing fires and conserving water during our hot and dry summer.
