Sports Fields
New Westminster is proud to offer a wide selection of quality fields throughout the City. All grass fields are provided free of charge and bookings are based on supply and demand with an emphasis on minor sports groups (space is limited). Note the artificial turf field and grass fields booked by commercial groups will be charged user fees.

Queen's Park Stadium
Queen's Park Stadium is a 2,000 seat community stadium located in the beautiful Queen's Park. The stadium is currently under renovations to convert two soil based playing surfaces to sand based fields. They will be available for bookings aproximately September 2005.

Centennial Lodge
The City’s Centennial Project in 1960 was the construction of the Centennial Lodge. The following ial Grove leading to the lodge was planted. An extension was added in 1987 to accommodate the Arts Council of New Westminster for use as small gallery and administration area to co-ordinate Arts & Cultural services.

Rose Garden
In 1956 a sunken rose garden, designed in a formal pattern of a Shakespearean garden was planted on the north side of the arena in Queen's Park. It contained 1,100 hybrid and floribunda roses.
In 1981 the Rose Garden was dedicated to Mr. Herb House. Mr. House was an individual who was dedicated to serving the community of New Westminster for more than 50 years.
The Herb House Rose Garden is open to the general public or may be reserved for your special function.
