Dog Enclosure

Access to the dog park is by means of the
pedestrian overpass at
7th Avenue and 22nd Street
 

This dog park was relocated in 2008 to accommodate the Ministry of Transportation upgrades to the road network accessing the Queensborough Bridge. This spacious dog park, approximately 3.15 acres, should be completed and open in January 2009 and feature gravel and grass surfaces, drinking fountain, park benches, waste receptacles, trees and spectacular views of the Fraser River, bridges and Queensborough. Please bring your doggie bags and recycle extra bags in our doggie bag program.

 OFF-LEASH DOG ENCLOSURE RULES

  • Dogs may be off leash only within the fenced enclosure.
    Owners are responsible for their dog's behaviour at all times and must ensure their dog is not aggressive toward other dogs or people.
    Dogs defined as a "Vicious Dog" in Bylaw No. 6348 must be muzzled at all times.
    Dog owners must pick up and dispose of dog waste inside the enclosure and in all park areas (Bylaw No. 6348).
    Please ensure gates remain closed.
  • Dogs must be accompanied by dog owners while in fenced enclosure.
